And my narcissistic self.
and those freak-ass idiots in buses who find it so comfortable to prop your legs against the back of the seats in front of you.
it is a far cry from "comfortable" for us poor souls who sit right in front of you.
what? legs too long?
chop them off then.
damn arses who are just so considerate for the other people in the bus.
why do i keep bumping into these demented people.
sheesh.
oooh~ the few of us were crapping about our dear pierre over lunch at mac opposite school and we found out some really weird stuff about him.
for one, he isn't even PIERRE.
he was in another batch last semester and he had people call him something that sounded like "lee-un".
and he used to give out namecards instead of contact numbers and stuff because apparently he finished jc, ns, overseas university and is currently 35 years-old.
plus he was taking MARKETING before cutting into LOM.
him and marketing don't belong in the same sentence, much like me and the phrase "dead drunk" being used in the same conversation. if you've seen him in person you'd get what i meant.
for someone almost double our age, he is surprisingly immature when it comes to dealing with projects and teamwork stuff.
so much for "he's much older and has more life experience" (quote mr. foo).
whateverrr~
by the way, mr. pierre jiang yilin, or whatever aliases you like to christen yourself with, we know your TOILET FETISH.
fufufuahahahahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!~

since i ended lessons early on mondays, i always picked this day to pay my handphone bill.
having done so, i went to popular to buy MAR book 14 but it wasn't in stock.
remembering that tenchi, the comic shop below popular, had relocated to parkway builders, i called my mother to ask if she still have that recruitment flyer that they sent a few weeks back so she could tell me which floor the shop is on.
seriously, luck isn't on my side today.
she told me that the flyer had already been thrown away, and will i be coming home for lunch?
my thirst for manga had me make the dumb choice of searching the building, not caring that i don't have the shop's exact location.
clever me remembered that the flyer had said that the shop was *quote flyer*
ABOVE MacDONALD'S.
so i decided to test its literal meaning and took the lift up to the second floor.
all i saw was tuition centres.
nevermind, maybe it was a few more floors higher.
and up i climbed, the slightly moulding, stuffy and just a bit humid staircase.
tuition centres.
oh well. climb climb..
tuition centres.
climb climb..
tuition centres, pool house.
climb climb..
climb climb..
*getting just a little pissed* climb climb..
from the railing, i could see the last tuition centre on the opposite corridor and decided that i'll just stop on that level, whether or not i found that damn shop.
climb climb..
tuition centre, music centre, tuition centre.
that's it!
i don't give a shite about that godbedamned shop anymore!
i'm going home!
pressed for the lift and looked around, waiting for it to come up.
wow, i've climbed to the nineth floor without knowing it!
and why is there a direction plate on that pillar on the corner? surely it's another flight of stairs behind it..
huh? there're glass doors behind the pillar! and those look remotely like.. shelves!
when i got closer to it, wth? it's that shop!
and it has a tag hanging behind the door that says "OPEN" when it's all dark and closed..
=.= wtfh..
and strictly speaking, not any part or wall of the shop is near ABOVE MacDONALD's.
how in the world do they expect people to find their shop when it's literally hidden inside the corner of the building, behind a friggin pillar?!
oh, this had glamourously undermined the definition of the phrases "vague directions" and "remote location".
you know what, comics connection is more of my cup of tea.
go sod yourself, tenchi!
MEH!
the second part of the whole movie is going to be shown in november, in japan only again, i guess.
T.T
fujiwara tatsuya is acting as light!!!
gah!!! haven't seen his other shows since hoshii no kinka back in sec1.
really nice j-drama! but the actual ending in the original novel put me off.
such anti-climatic ending.
sheesh.
ah well, i shall ask my mother to see if she can find death note's vcd in taiwan when she goes back for a visit in september.
can't stand people who think they own me and assumes that i should appreciate their existence.
what rubbish.
and then there is this raw animalistic instinct to take out the frustration on the nearest tangible object.
throw stuff, smash things, hurt someone, snap at anyone who dares talk to me, bash my head against the wall or just take a knife and draw it across my skin and end it all.
regardless of how tempting said knife looked under the artificial lighting, there is this weakness that stops me from doing anything more with it.
a weakness that says i'm above all these.
she's not worth my life, no one is.
a life is still a life, and no matter how many blisters the journey gives along the way, the right to exist is too great to violate.
the hopelessness of knowing that i can't do anything about things hurt worse than the physical hurt from the pain of blood, of destruction and the likes.
ah, well.
life sucks, big time.
it's like a "live and fight" or "crash and burn" sort of thing.
on a lighter note, i think it's reassuring, in a nostalgic sort of way, when one realises that we were all young and innocent once.
while in the bus on my way home, i saw one of my psychology classmates alight the bus and walk off and that was when i saw her back.
weirdly it reminded me of how we were merely children once.
even though we're in poly now, we were only two years older than when we were all simple students in uniforms, rushing to school, trying to memorise a neverending list of formulas and theories, slacking at the "seniors' corner" of the school watching the rest of the people in school.
no matter how matured some people want themselves to be, from the back, the gait still retains that "newly-acquired-but-not-yet-full" confident air.
and that faraway-yet-still-fresh memory somehow keeps us intact from the excessive growing up we have to do and helps with the transition from adolescence to adulthood.
at least there's something there definite that we can hold on to, through the pain of having to grow up too fast too soon.
crap, now i've successfully made myself sound like some grumpy old hag, wrinkled and shriveled, with a mouth of dentures and only barely-visible strands of silver hair on my head, reminiscing about the ghost of a youth that possibly happened half a century ago.
gah.

totally overrated.
anyways, gotta get back to my mgmt science tutorial asap.
completing a blogskin takes up just too much time.
*update*
it's national day and my mother doesn't let us watch the parade on tv.
WTH.
first, i skipped today's managerial accounting lecture and then i watched my vcd until the nineth disc.
so much for putting it off until after my exams =.=
dammit.
sometimes i am such the arse.
haha.. it sounds like nonsense, but it's a private joke ky and i came up with on the bus to my house back from the national stadium.
feel like starting a band. hmm..
i blame it on the evil influence of L'Arc~en~Ciel and HYDE.
by the way, anyone interested?
haha.. *faints*

skipped psychology revision lecture yesterday to watch The Click with ky yesterday.
we almost couldn't pay for our tickets because i forgot that there was only less than $5 in my wallet -_-U
anyhoo~
my sister wanted to get Cardcaptor Sakura anime vcds because there was a sale going on. so i ended up heading out straight after reaching home with her and my mother.
not to say that i didn't get anything hohoho..
i got "e mo zai shen bian" (or Devil Beside You, as the weird translation is) vcd and F.I.R's newest album for $7 (obviously it's the china version, but.. oh well).
one of their new mv (GET HIGH) is kinda cute because everyone was sort of dancing in it and the person on the keyboard (ian) is definitely 30+ years-old, which made it.. cute in a weird sort of way.
i guess i can only watch the vcd after my exams, which irritatingly lasts three weeks although we have only four papers *swears*.
and our first paper is on the friday of our study week.
hello?! it's not a study week already if a paper is held on any day of that week!!
sheesh.
and i still have a psychology test tomorrow to study for.
pfft.
