Our LO (Liaison Officer, who is actually just one of our lecturers) came down to our company this evening for a "short chat" with our supervisor, and then with Jessie and me.
It's nice to see a familiar face from school after so long (ok, so maybe 3 weeks isn't exactly long, but still!).
I have done nothing but those Excel sales reports today and I was THIS close to completing all of them! I'm very sure it'll all be done by tomorrow. Hopefully. *Crosses fingers*
The new version's colours are just so much more appealing than the current version's. Even the Rose Pink is comfortable to look at. Plus there's no ugly Gold colour this time around. Another aesthetic plus? The buttons on the d-pad are transparent. The letters and the arrows are printed on the bottom and the buttons are see-through. Pretty!
Still, I don't think I'll ever get one. I just like to look are pretty things. Especially pretty gadgets. And what with my life being so busy these days that I can't even complete Final Fantasy X yet, getting a PSP will just add number of not-yet-completed games to my already long list.
Although, there is a possibility that I may want to get a Nintendo DSlite in the future. Why? You see, older Final Fantasy games are being remade, and the new graphics are (pardon my repetition) pretty. Of course there're the new Pokémon games Diamond and Pearl. Yes, Pokémon, because I'm old-fashioned that way.
Speaking of my now busy life, thanks to my internship, there isn't enough time for me to edit and upload Aki Kitsune for the time being. So, here's me announcing yet another hiatus. But no worries! I'm still writing the chapters from time to time (including sacrificing early sleep on weeknights to churn out some words. Have I mentioned that AK chapter25 is half done?) so just check back here for updates.

MY HEART DRAWS A DREAM is already out. Go search for it's pv because it's really very pretty and it reminds me of the pv done for winter fall. I'm hoping that I have enough savings for the L'Anniversary Live DVD when the normal edition comes out. If only I could have the limited edition but... for the sake of my miniscule savings... *sob* October's single, November's single, and then there's the new album that's coming out after a 2year and 5months wait since their AWAKE album!
Went to this Thai restaurant at Parkway for lunch. Event? Early celebration for my paternal grandmother's birthday. She's still young, ok! Haha... Before my mother came back from Taiwan to live with us, everyone else used to mistake my grandmother for my mother.
Anyway, it was after we came back from lunch that I continued my mad AK editing session so that the chapter can be uploaded today. Guess I succeeded!
Found this absolutely amazing L'Arc live performance of Dive to Blue from 2000. Apparently, HYDE-sama hurt his rib before this, which explains the strange leather binding thing around his torso. However, it seems as if nothing can stop HYDE-sama from prancing about on the stage. And what's with Tetsu and his obsession with throwing out bananas in every concert? Nevertheless, he's still adorable. I just love how L'Arc dominates the stage in this performance, and the way HYDE asserts his stage presence.
In view of next week's semester main examination, I am now fighting against the impossible current that is my procrastination.
And impossible it is, indeed. I've spent my late morning and afternoon reading fanfictions and lazily rearranging loose sheets of notes, with one set of lecture notes in my lap but not conducively contributing in any way at all.
Okay, my full-body ache didn't worsen today, although, neither did it lessen. The only irritating part was the skin on the balls of my shoulder where it got burnt the worse on Friday. Ugh, the pain. I intend to send out death threats when I return to school on Monday and just wait for the first victim who's stupid enough to test my patience and level of sunburnt-pain endurance.
Anyway, I'm sort of stuck at the 1200th plus words of Aki Kitsune chapter24 and am trying to finish the chapter up. 800 words had never seemed so impossible before.
One reason for my lagging writing speed would be the distraction. An example would be the weekly uploaded video for Lovely*Complex.
Amazingly enough, my Internet connection worked fine today and allowed me to load the episode in one go; no refreshes, no scampering to my parents' room to connect directly to the modem just so I can watch the episode that I've been anticipating since the anime started.

I feel a little accomplished. Chapter24 of Aki Kitsune is half-complete and I've also written a 561-worded scene for Atarashii no Kisetsu last night (or more precisely, around 2am) that was started in my mind months ago by a short phrase that contained the words "brutality" and "repulsive", if my memory served me right. Don't worry, it's not an outrightly dark-fiction, although the two words above sounded rather alarming. The only dark aspect of anything I could bring myself to write was solely on the emotional-feeling side rather than the obvious act of it.
You see, I do have a sliver of innocent goodness under the shadow that is my sadistical perversity.

Anyway, I went out with Phoenix to Parkway this afternoon because I needed a new pair of shorts. The zip tag of my old one broke off so... yeah.
Nix recounted the bizzare and irritating clubbing experience she had last night while I lamented that she should have been more evil about her actions. Still, she got a free meal out of it. I ended up not touching my leftover allowance for any of my spendings today because I changed the $250 Australian dollar my great-grandmother gave me last month (or was it two months ago?) into Singapore dollar and thus had an extra of $300 to spend.
I wanted to get two pairs of shorts but well, the alternatives didn't have any in my size. And as for the new pair of sandals that I've been trying to find since forever, there were none nice enough. Skipping pass that, I got a new hairband, light-brown rubber band (Phoenix: "What's with you and brown?!") and two black clips at Chameleon. Saw PQ there. The girl's getting professional about selling things haha...
Treated Nix to Scoopz ice-cream, mint and chocolate chips, while I had chocolate. What can I say, I'm a chocolate fanatic. Then, the girl realises that she's still hungry and we ended up in Sakae. Tried raw salmon for the first time. As long as I ignored the part of my brain that screamed "RAW!" at me, it's quite ok and not as bad as my mother made it out to be.
We had a chat there while taking up the space and prevented the people outside from coming in to eat *guffaws* It's the usual few topics ever since Nix told me about her encounter, which had sort of awakened that unsatisfied part of me (let me give you a clue, the word starts with a 'L' and ends with an 'O'). We both decided that we are not satisfied about a certain thing and had once again accertained the point that when wanting to talk freely about evilness in its pure essence, there is no one better to have the conversation with than each other.
I wouldn't mind Pauline though, but she had somehow disappeared off the face of the planet ever since her trip to Cambridge and I can't find her to finally confirm if the professors there really wore round glasses at the tip of their beaked noses and graded papers in the middle of the cold dark night, occasionally sipping at their coffee. Pauline dearest! Where art thou?
Getting back to the original subject, our final trip was to Popular where I succumbed to the temptation of owning the full set of 25 colours Stabilo point88 felt tip pens. Yes Nix, I am very content right now with the pens. There was an odd sense of smugness whenever I pull away the tab and let the pack flush out, spreading out all the colours. I'm so strange *laughs*
Well, it's a good that that for my sudden upsurge in wealth, I didn't spend an equally large amount although I still felt guilty about letting go of more than $50. It's ingrained already, I think, what with the overtly budgeted life that I had allowed myself to have.
Dammit, Phoenix! I still think that you should have persisted for the wallet. And when will you finish beta-ing my chapters20-22?
I am fiddling around with Photoshop and surfing through loads of online tutorials. In preparation for Aki Kitsune, I've been messing with eye colours since yesterday.
Okay, my editing skills aren't that good yet, I'll admit that. Hmm... this wouldn't reveal too much about AK, would it?

Oh yeah, my mother told me to bring my sister to my grandfather's house this afternoon so that we can watch the CSI 3-hour rerun "marathon" thing because we missed this week's episodes thanks to the television set that I DID NOT SPOIL.
Only when we reached my grandfather's house did we realise that LO-AND-BEHOLD! darling grandpappy did not have the channel that CSI was showed on. I just absolutely love it when mommy dearest forgets that SHE was the one who cancelled our grandfather's subscription to AXN channel from SCV seven years ago, then told me to buy lunch and spend three hours at my grandfather's house where there's no internet for me to keep up with any updates my group might have about our project.
*Breathes* *Takes a deep breath*
Anyway, my sister and I wasted time walking to-and-fro and ARGH! I ended up loading the episodes online while my sister watched Tim Burton's Corpse Bride beside me on my father's other laptop.
Ugh. Such frustration.

And I've decided to put Aki Kitsune on a teeny tiny hiatus for now, because both Phoenix, who happens to be my Beta, and I are now too busy with projects and whatnots to churn out some decent semblance of output.
Not to worry though, I'm still writing from time to time and to reassure those who read AK, I've completed chapter23 last night. It's the longest chapter to date with just over 2900 words and no matter how I try to shorten it, this length seemed to suit it the best.

i am leaving for LOM camp this afternoon! so excited!! um.. because i didn't bother to sign up for last year's so i might as well join this year, seeing that it's my last year in TP. and to fully utilise the fund that we had contributed to.

here's the nineth episode, the reason for this last of lasts entries before term test. (good gods, it's loading so fast i'm shocked down to the last cuticle on the tips of my toes! in the span of time i took to type this short post, it has already finished loading!!! *still in shock*)
and despite my wanting to study last night, i ended up finishing chapter21 of Aki Kitsune instead. *curses under my breath*
why doesn't the drive for story inspiration surface when i want to, yet coming forward to disturb me when i desperately need to purge my mind of everything else save for the things i need to remember to score for tests?
i am currently stuck in the LOM lab, feigning attention in class because of my favourite auspiscious seat right at the back of the room that does not allow me the best view of the projection screen right at the front of the class. so, i have clearly given up on checking tutorial answers to come update my blog and relieve my blogging time at home for other things.
ah... me and my luck for choosing seats.
anyways, it has become a routine to check tudou every monday for the latest episode of Lovely Complex. and it just lifts my mood to see the "no. of episodes" increase by one each week. *sighs happy*
oh, and in view of exams next week and to prepare for it, i'm putting the writing and posting of Aki Kitsune on hiatus until the papers end. my regular posting schedule should resume around 10th june. *bows in humble apology*

i've been waiting on bated breath ever since i watched the ending of episode 6 and episode 7 is finally out!!! *big whoop!* i am such a happy person right this moment. today just couldn't get better. actually, it could. if it starts to rain a thunderstorm now i'd be really content. don't know why but i'm craving for a storm now. hmm..
have to warn you though, tudou sucks big time when it comes to loading so maybe you can try watching those in the morning before our tutorial at 4pm on tuesdays if it doesn't work at night. loads better then, if i'm not wrong. i'm loading ep6 now, by the way. *teehee!!*
