ok.. after 36 hours of network extension, MapleStory had to have an "urgent server check" =_=;
anyway, i did my diploma selection this morning.
what?! after 1 semester and i havent got into my diploma course??
nah.. it's just that now i'm just taking a course, not diploma. for the 1st year, i take general business, then i start taking my diploma next year. why-o-why did i choose LOM (Logistics Operations Management)?! it's all maths?! i must be out of my mind..
maybe i am a tad crazy to choose LOM but the other two choices arent for me anyways. i mean, i suck at accounting so Dip. in Business is out. i cant talk calmly to a bunch of people or make presentations so Dip. in Marketing is out too which only leaves LOM.
although LOM has a lot of maths stuff, come to think of it, i dont really mind it. i mean, it's maths! at least it keeps my brain from rusting (if i had 1 in the first place lol). worse comes to worse i'll sit in a warehouse all day long figuring which crate goes on top of which crate on those huge ships that ships them off the harbour and work with china and bangla people (or so what ky so endearingly mentioned sarcastically to me).
i took a look at some of the subjects that i may need to take and i saw "Calculus" and the description after that: ".. differentiation, integration.."
omg it's secondary school additional maths all over again.
actually i'm looking forward to it!! i must be mad haha..
at least i dont need to see most of the people in my class next year since less than 5 of us chose LOM. that's a real plus haha.. we're not in the same frequency of the mind anyways and especially this girl, janice. although there are times we can talk till the end of the world, there are times when i really cant stand her.
for one, she has this fear of trying new things. try to tell her a joke that needs to use her hand and she'll protect it as if i would chop it off. let's go play badminton! in less than 10 seconds she will beg to pass the racket to another friend =_=; yes girl, u are so sporting.
and sometimes those people wouldnt even tell me what they were talking about. yeah, and janice self-proclaims that i'm one of her close friends in this whole school. dont worry, i hear the sincerity in your tone (if there is any).
i updated the "others' blog" section! and jing teng is at the top of the pathetically puny list!!
