communication skills. seriously, this is the worst polytechnic core subject EVER.
especially when you had to type out a 3 page report comparing two job interview sessions out of the few a selected group of my classmates had with our tutor.
my mind blanked out after i created a comparison table and i had no idea how to start the blasted report.
this of course led to my inevitable procrastination from friday night to this afternoon.
i gave up on waiting for report inspiration to come to me last night to i ended up reading fanfictions again.
all the way to 2.30am, if i'm not wrong.
happily i though i could sleep to 9 or 10, before waking up to leave for changi village and pulau ubin because my parents wanted to walk around with my grandmother since she visits us during weekends.
lo and behold! i got dragged out of my comfy bed at friggin 8am.
8AM! can you believe that?!
i had little next to 5 hours of sleep for the past 3 days and i had to wake up at 8am?!
needless to say, i was quite pissed most of the time although i don't have much of a morning temper.
plus, there was nothing at pulau ubin worthy to be seen!
there were just some desolated fisheries, an empty volunteer centre, lots of trees and wild flowers (that i don't mind, had a good time snapping pictures with my 1 month old new handphone) and HORDES of cyclist who came from the main singapore island who decided that an almost abandoned island, save for some kopitiam-styled restaurants and loads of bicycle shops, is a better place to cycle as compared to the lovely east coast park filled with life, a beautiful sea view and shops that are actually open!
that's an incredibly long sentence. whew.
so we all came home after 5 hours of walking around in the sun and i fell into a sort-of sleep for and hour or so until i got woken up by kotani kinya's BLAZE.
and i was wondering why did the song sounded so familiar.
it was the opening theme song for the anime tsubasa reservoir.
there was definitely something very wrong with that anime.
the seiyuu for syaoran sounded a little too gay-ish and not teen-boyish enough for me, and since when did mokona grew that big?!
i thought that white fluffiness was big enough to be held in one hand but no..
it was as big as an adolescent KOALA.
and don't get me started on mokona's seiyuu.
in my mind, i had always imagined mokona to hav this kiddish-girlish-pikachu-ish voice.
oh, it's kiddish all right.
a proper kid's talking voice.
not uber-cutish for that ball of fluff that i so expected it to be.
such a let down.
i got quite disappointed in the seiyuu arrangement, which had fully woke me up.
and there are still ignorant people who say that ANIMES come BEFORE MANGAS.
am i the only ass who has a high expectation for animes to follow the canon plots and everything else in their mangas faithfully?!
anyways, i'm gonna head back to that darn report.
no point wasting my time ranting about stuff that those #$%^&* anime people will not be changing in a very long time to come.
