And my narcissistic self.
thanks to julia, yl, ym, yw, klara, janice, phoenix, jill, fabian and felicia (am i missing out anyone?) for the new crumpler =)
and ky for getting me that Final Fantasy XII that i've been salivating over ever since it came out.
speaking of bags, it seems that i haven't lost the knack for pulling out money from them.
when i was washing (scrubbing, more likely) out my old OP bag, 5cents dropped out.
all right, i concede that it was nowhere as impressive as pulling out $20 like i could three years ago, but still!
anyways, i feel like ranting for a bit and let's see..
i know! i shall blog about the things that get on my nerves!
first, of course, would be my mother.
one, she has no tact; two, has the intelligence uncannily similiar to a dumb blonde; three, it turns out that she's one of those people who i hate for not knowing how to walk properly; and lastly, she's a cancer.
i've always prided myself as not being superstitious but this is only thing about horoscopes that i absolutely believe in:
ARIESs CAN'T GET ALONG WITH CANCERS.
cancers are over-assertive about things that doesn't need to be worried about and are too loose about things that require one to be assertive about.
cancers can't understand and accept aries' innate attraction to freedom and independence.
personally, i just think that they try too hard to fuse themselves into arieses' lives and end up suffocating us.
thankfully, none of my friends are cancers. at least, none that i'm sure of.
right, next, my writer pet peeves.
because i'm constantly reading fanfictions (for reasons i'm sure some are aware of), i can't stand it when other writers don't ever check through their work.
fine, some don't have betas. but one doesn't need betas to check for spelling errors, no?
but as compared to that, i downright abhor it when those writers spell "definitely" as "defiantly".
sometimes the latter was purposely used but i'm sure everyone is able to tell the difference when the first was intended, right? because really, the sentences mean two things when it's
"she was definitely glaring at me", or
"she was defiantly glaring at me".
ok, now that i'm feeling better, it's back to editing AK so it won't be so long-winded without compromising the character developments.
i'm so addicted to this song now: Hitomi no Jyuunin. watch for the extreme high note.
i remember being really shocked the first time i saw the music video years ago for this song when hyde hit that note and i'm playing that song on loop on my laptop now.
who says japanese music isn't good hasn't even begun to realise the talents that they're missing out on.
